Travel Baseball in Williamsburg
There are two organizations based in Williamsburg… Virginia Venom and the Revolution. There are many more up and down the peninsula but we’ll start with the locals.
Virginia Venom
The Venom is a nonprofit organization created to offer talented and motivated players a chance to play against other competitive teams. Players have the opportunity to improve their individual skills and learn team strategy with an emphasis on the dedication and perseverance needed to play competitive sports.
The venom is a multi-sport organization that includes baseball, Basketball, Volleyball and girls Lacrosse. If you are a part of a Virginia Venom baseball team, you as an individual (and your team) will have full access to their 8,000sf indoor baseball facility complete with pitching machines, 6 retractable batting cages and 3 pitching lanes. This is one of the things that really separates the Venom from other travel organizations.
Venom baseball has teams from 8U through 17U.
The Venom organization is in its 6th year of existence. Compared to other travel organizations, the Venom is able to offer competitive baseball that is VERY organized and is the most affordable. And you get access to an awesome indoor facility!
Venom website with Tryout info is HERE
Williamsburg Revolution Travel Baseball
The Revolution is the official name of WYBL all-star teams. The Revolution Teams will play in tournaments around the state of Virginia leading up to the WYBL Spring League Season. There will be additional costs above the WYBL Registration fee depending upon the number of tournaments each team plays.
Revolution has teams from 8U – 13U

Is my son 9u or 10u? He turns 10 on —–
I get this question quite a bit. In travel ball, you can always “play up” depending on the skill and athleticism of the particular player. But they must be under the maximum cut off date. In our little leagues and Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth leagues
players ages are determined as of April 30th. Meaning, if your player is 10 years old on or before April 30th, he/she will play in the 10 year old division.
Also, if you’re interested in winter pre-season baseball camps, I just announced our 2016 line up of prep camps and specialty camps HERE. All camps are held in the Virginia Venom indoor facility.
