I Spoke with the Louisville Slugger Regional Rep about bat sizing and he stated,

I recommend bat Demo Days to use for bat sizing like the EXPO. Brent Legel

Brent also stated that one of the first pieces of information you want to find out is where you are playing and what the regulations are for that particular league or tournament. He has heard of stories where a parent would purchase a bat, pull the wrapper off to use it in a game only to find out that it was not legal. Parents, you really need to do your research before making that big purchase. Another reason to come on out to the Williamsburg Baseball EXPO on January 26th.
